This is a sample blog post… it’ll show you what your blog is for in your website system, how to use it, and so on. On blog posts you can do a whole bunch of cool stuff.
One of the best ways to improve your search engine rankings, attract leads online, build your authority and credibility in your market… and build your brand online is to have an active company blog that puts out great info, delivers stories about great things your company is doing, and more.
Ideas For Blog Posts
If you’re sitting here thinking… “I’m not sure what I would write on my blog”… there’s nothing wrong with that at all.
First of all, if you plain and simple don’t have time to write even one blog post a month because you’re closing so darn many deals already… then awesome! A blog won’t make or break your company.
However, if you do have time each week or a couple times a month at a minimum then we’d highly suggest it. We personally know the power of putting up great content on our sites and how it attracts new visitors from the search engines, new customers to your business, and more profits in your bank.
So here’s some ideas…
- Real estate statistics for your local area
- Case studies of your successful deals (pictures are always great)
- Content and information around foreclosure, “how to” articles, helpful information for buyers or sellers
- Real estate or political news that affects the real estate market
- Fun amusing stuff with your business
- … whatever the heck you want that will help provide great info for your clients

Just head over there, subscribe for free and grab our real estate stats report each month and post that on your own blog for your readers.
How Often Should You Post?
The simple answer: The more the better.
The better answer: Ideally once a week… twice a month at a bare minimum.
How Do I Create A Blog Post?
Simple…
- Log into your website admin
- Click the “Posts” tab on the left side of your admin area
- Click “Add New”. This will take you to your post creation/editing area
- Create a title for your post
- Type your post (works like a word document, enter in pictures, format your articles, insert links, etc.)
- Choose the category your post falls under (or create new categories easily)
- Enter tags that are about your post (these help a lot with search engine results)
- Click the blue “Publish” button in the upper right (or if you’re editing a post, it’ll say “update”)
- That’ it!
How To Delete This Sample Blog Post
Ok, now that you know how to create your own blog post… you’ll want to delete this sample blog post so it doesn’t show up in your site anymore (or, keep it up and just start writing great blog posts!)
- Log into your site admin
- Click the “Posts” tab on the left
- Find the post titled “Welcome”
- Hover over the name… click the “Trash” link that appears. Confirm you want to delete it.
- That’s it!
